What is the JDocs Framework?

 

 

The JDocs Framework is based on the College's ten core competencies, and describes the many tasks, skills and behaviours expected of the prevocationa doctor during the early prevocational years (PGY1–PGY3+).

All competencies are of equal importance and describe the expected key attributes of a prevocational doctor in becoming:

• a safe, competent clinician
• a professional in the workplace
• a collaborative member of a team.

A number of key clinical tasks that describe the skills and knowledge expected at defined PGY levels, for each competency, have been developed to support work-based feedback/assessment.
